Anne-Flore Marxer was born and resides in Switzerland. At twenty-two years of age Anne-Flore has been ripping on snow for over eight years, and is backed by the industry elite with Burton and DVS. Anne-Flore definitely rocks it on the rails, park and backcountry by day when shredding, but come nighttime AFM is tearing up your nearest dance floor with her 80’s dancer queen style.
Having grown up around the epic riding of the Swiss Alps, Anne-Flore has established a riding approach all her own, that truly matches her outgoing and energetic personality. Got so much into a dance video game that I ended up dancing in my underwear cause I was sweating like crazy, challenging all the kids the one after the other in a public gambling room. Tons of fun!

What do you hold the most valuable to you in life?
Health, happiness, family and friends.
What are your most fond childhood memories?
Spending whole summer days on the Rado (a floating plastic island on geneva’s lake) or brushing and cuddling and brushing some more and cleaning and feeding and riding and cuddling again all the pony family at my grand grand father’s house.
What are the 3 biggest things you learned from your parents?
Overcoming fear becomes fun. Integrity and generosity.
What makes you different than other girls or just unique?
My blondness.
What interests do you have other than snowboarding/skiing and why?
Skiing, painting, surfing, yoga, biking, dancing, laughing, cooking, singing, kissing, eating yummy stuff and more!
What made you start your sport and why?
I’ve always been on skies on the mountain and in the snow.. I was 14 months old when I first started so it cam naturally to try snowboarding.. no particular reason..

Capharnaum.. cause that describes my room, my plans and my heart.
What are the best and worst parts of being a pro snowboarder?
The traveling with culture people and landscapes is the best part and the injuries and the time spent in the plane is the worst part.
What do you want people to know about you that they probably don't know already?
That I am a heartbreaker!! Or that I don’t shave my legs?
What’s the best advice you have ever received?
Don’t listen to what people say, just do your thing!

Friends, health, happiness, ice cream, love and hot chocolate.
